EXTREME Success in 12 Months or Less!
Thank you for reading my blog again. This idea came to me as a way to motivate and inspire my readers, colleagues, fans and clients into reaching their full potential and creating the abundance that I know they are seeking.
I've noticed a pattern in my life, that success, abundance and prosperity appear almost magically and suddenly in my life. Some people may think that it takes years to be successful.... it takes years of school, it takes years of toiling and saving, it takes years of sacrifice to achieve great things. Well, years is not necessarily the norm. We, as humans, have the ability through our consciousness to compact a lot into a little amount of time.
Other people come across money magically as well... perhaps by winning the lotto, having a timely idea, inventing a new product, hooking up on a successful business partnership, or marrying a great businessman or even by entering into a late-life love affair. The road to instant and insane wealth can be varied and supernatural; it can take many different courses and it can arrive at any stage of life.
The universe has shown us over and over again that Zero to EXTREME Success CAN Be Achieved in 12 Months or Less!
The following principles are very special to me. I did not make them up, many of them have been passed down to me personally by my earth "angels", special people whom I have met along my path. These timeless teachings come from an ancient body of spiritual wisdom stemming back 4,000 years; these principles have been passed down from one generation to another since then. I have also applied my own twist on some of the principles with the lessons I have learned in my educational courses in clinical hypnotherapy, my interest in world religions, and my 20-years worth of media interviews with some of the most successful people of the day: celebrities, CEOs, and other VIPs.
Here is one recent example of what applying these principles did for me.
Real Estate Business -- New and Relatively Inexperienced in 2005
Decided to start a real estate business, but never was too interested in residential real estate. My only experience was assisting in the purchase and sale of residential homes in Los Angeles with a broker that I once worked with as an assistant. Most of my professional life, I worked in media and focused primarily on personal real estate investing, buying and selling properties for myself, but deep down I yearned to help others in their real estate transactions.
12 Months later I was a national real estate sales agent with connections and sales around the nation and I even started additional profitable divisions within my real estate company! After one year in business, I was celebrating how miraculously and magically I closed $5 million plus in real estate transactions around the nation. Plus, best of all I had assisted many new clients in becoming real estate investors, plus I had the pleasure of expanding the portfolio of numerous seasoned investors! Additionally, I developed and profited from new divisions in my sales business to also include real estate media, marketing and loan financing.
This is just one example of going into EXTREME success in a short time. Here's another:
It was my junior year in college back in 1993. I was studying for a bachelor's degree in journalism. I was broke, waiting tables at a restaurant and hungry for EXTREME success.
Six months later (I really sped things up then!), I had a nationwide magazine for Hispanic women, which sold at Barnes and Noble. I began to hob-nob with celebrities and started a profitable journalism career freelancing for other magazines as well. Plus, my face and magazine covers were plastered in newspapers and magazines around the nation -- the media found it intriguing how a college student could accomplish such a feat. Oh, I forgot, I also won a college scholarship $$$$ !
I have had the same magic in other areas of my life as well: in my stint with acting and commercial work and in my own real estate investing portfolio. This success formula can be applied to virtually any career, business or even personal goal.
What propelled me to go from Point A to Point B in such a short amount of time?
Here are my secrets to expedite success in your life or business.
1. Ask for help. Tap into your existing network and life. Let everyone who will listen know about your new business or let them know you are seeking a new opportunity. Ask friends, loved ones and colleagues for help. I believe most people are good-hearted and loving by nature, human beings want to help when they are asked to.
2. Be humble: Learn from everyone. People are put on our path to guide us to the next level of happiness and the next level of abundance. Look for clues along the way, you will be guided in the right direction if you open your ears, eyes, heart and mind.
3. Exercise, it stimulates creativity and stamina. Passive people seldom get the prize. I'm not saying to spend hours at the gym, but regular exercise helps people deal with stress better, increases confidence and poise, extends a person's life and increases their creativity (and sex drive).
4. Change your ho-hum routine. When life is a bore and a chore, you lose passion and hope. Once your vital juices stop flowing, it's difficult to reach that peak level of performance and subsequently impossible to be successful.
How can you change your routine without quitting your job or ditching your kids? Take a different route to work, go dine in a new restaurant, change your hairstyle, move the furniture around, jump on a plane and go visit a new city for the weekend. The richer your experiences are, the more artistic your existence will be.
Find creative ways to change your day around, to make it different and memorable. Don't get stuck in a rut, you'll end up thinking in a box, following the rat race and being a number and then an ordinary plot on the ground. No, we are going to leave behind a legacy, RIGHT???
5. Visualize the life you want tomorrow, TODAY! The great athletes of yesteryear utilized visualization as a way for them to reach their peak performance. They would spend hours seeing themselves playing at their best, they would feel the victory of overcoming their opponent and savor it, as if it were real. Everyday, it's important to take a few minutes, relax in a quiet place and see yourself as the person you want to be tomorrow, TODAY.
6. Expect miracles, don't dwell on the details. Many of my personal real estate and business deals happened out of the blue. I just happened to be in the right place, at the right time. Most people are negative because they've been conditioned to believe that life is an ordinary, predictable drudgery. They don't anticipate any breaks, they don't expect any divine favors or blessings. Instead they focus on why they should NOT get abundance: "I don't deserve success because I didn't finish college." Or, "No one in my family is successful, why do I think I can break the bad curse?" Have faith and hope, don't ask how. The miracle will unravel on its own.
7. Listen to the messages. Often we get messages along the way in the direction we should go, whether it be from a loved one, a colleague, a family member, even a complete stranger! Listen to the clues that appear on your path. Pay attention to the people that enter in and out of your life. They are there for a reason. They have been put into your life to teach you a vital lesson and bring you to a higher level of consciousness.
8. Focus on your strengths, delegate your weaknesses. Once my downfall was cold calling, I hated doing it and avoided it. However, every new business needs to generate business and reaching for the phone is by far the best, most effective and less costly form of marketing -- besides the internet. To compensate for my weakness, I hired a telemarketer. Focus on what you excel in and find good help for the rest.
9. Work with passion and give it your maximum effort. The majority of people want to put in the least possible amount of effort to get by in life. They don't inject any chutzpah ( ganas ) into their life. Imagine if you always gave 110% of your best to everything you did...WOW! If you always gave your MAXIMUM, you would be the most sought-after professional in your field. And, consequently, the most successful.
10. Raise the bar, don't settle for mediocrity. The amount of abundance, joy and happiness that is waiting for us is unimaginable. We are a vessel, one that is never filled to its capacity. Unfortunately, most people limit themselves: "Oh, I don't want to make more money, because then I'll have to pay more taxes." Or: "All I ever wanted was a home and a guest house, that's it." These are real statements that I recently heard! Let's change those defeating sentences with something like: "I want to make millions so I can fund my favorite charities and pay Uncle Sam his fair share." ( FYI: You will be such a savvy investor soon, you will discover many interesting and LEGAL ways to reduce your tax liability. )
11. Want it for a higher purpose. If you want fame, money, privilege and respect just so you can look like Pimp Daddy Mac or Queen Money Bags, then you will NOT find success...at least not for long. The people who do it merely for their own selfish reasons, do not find lasting love, lasting success, lasting prosperity and lasting happiness. Of course it's perfectly healthy to want a better life simply for you to enjoy it, but ALWAYS keep others first in your life. Do it for your children, for your parents, your loved one, your business partner, a favorite charity, your profession's integrity, a family legacy, your country.
12. Go with the flow, knowing success is your birthright. You don't have to fight a losing battle. EXTREME prosperity, love, joy and happiness are your divine merits. You were meant to have it all, to want it all, TO RECEIVE IT ALL. We are a conduit for the flood gates of either two realities: heaven or hell, light or dark, negative or positive, ying or yang. Which do you want to bring down to Earth? I choose the pearly gates, thank you very much. So, knowing that I believe in a Creator, I choose to know that I have attributes of the Almighty. Specks of divinity are within each of us and all around us! Did you know that the Earth is constantly bombarded by sparks of energy coming down from space? Divine life force is automatically feeding our universe. Unexplainable magic is surrounds us! Tap into the Light.
13. Ask for Divine Guidance. I believe in a Higher Force and I believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ. My Hispanic, Catholic roots also help me connect to the Virgin Mary, and even Saint Joseph has helped me out in a real estate deal or two! I love learning about world religions: the different branches of Christianity, Buddhism, Kabbalah, SRF, Native American spiritual teachings. I have known many people who do not believe in a God, and I even had my doubts for a year or two when I was younger, but now that I connect to the other reality, the one beyond our normal perception, I am open to expecting miracles and seeing blessings. I know that God wants ONLY the BEST for me.
14. Enjoy the process. Remember that success is a journey, not a destination. Enjoy the bumpy ride, the ups the downs, the conquests and the defeats. Don't take the obstacles and the stress as negative aspects. Instead, have certainty that the harder and more difficult it is, the closer you are to SUCCESS! Remember to be happy and thankful with your CURRENT lot in life, but to always STRIVE FOR MORE: More money, favors, love, health and blessings. But it's important to appreciate the everyday miracles in order to be open to receiving more blessings.
